As most of you know it is the end of my semester at Brock University, and I start teaching in my block this Wednesday. As my final assignment I was asked to create a Ted Talk about my Genius Hour Project. I hope you all enjoy learning about my journey!
I learned a lot about baseball through your TED talk! You were very informative. I noticed that partway through, your video went sideways (landscape vs. the portrait you started and ended with). I wonder if there is a way to make the video consistently one style.
ReplyDeleteI loved the before and after shots at the end of the video-- it really showed your growth through the semester!
Overall, great job!
Thank you Alanna,
DeleteI am not the most tech savvy person, but I will look into it. Thank you for your feedback!
I really enjoyed watching your TEDTalk! You really seemed to follow your goal and complete your genius hour effectively. Your passion and motivation to continue learning about your baseball swing during the offseason shows how committed you are.
ReplyDeleteGreat job overall, you demonstrated your growth from start to finish! I hope your swing knocks one out of the park! :)
Thank you Hannah!
DeleteI am really excited as the softball season is right around the corner! From attending batting practice every week, one of the regular guys there asked me to come out for a tournament in April with his team. He said if it's a good fit he would like me to join their tournament team for the rest of the season. Hard work does really pay off. Thank you for your feedback and support!
Hey Sabrina, I love how informative your TED Talk is and how you were able to follow your goals to help improve your baseball skills. As Alanna previously mentioned your video alternated between landscape and portrait, however it did not take away from the overall message of your video and the quality of the content within it. I really enjoyed how you included before and after shots so we could see your progress and also how you included credits at the end! I'm glad you were able to improve as it shows the dedication you had to your genius hour project. Also your blog is really great and easy to navigate through. Keep up the Great Work ! :) -Miss Ho
ReplyDeleteThank you Catherine!
DeleteAs I just mentioned to Alanna, I am not 100 percent sure of how to fix the landscape versus portrait problem; as it just based on how the videos were recorded. I will look into it however, and hopefully find a solution. Thank you for your feedback!!
